More Than a Place to Stay
At The Family Fido, boarding is more than overnight care—it's an opportunity to provide dogs with meaningful enrichment, individualized attention, and a structured environment designed to support their emotional and physical well-being.
Our boarding program was created for families who want their dogs cared for as individuals, not simply managed in a large group setting. By intentionally limiting the number of dogs in our care, we are able to focus on what each dog truly needs to feel safe, comfortable, and successful while away from home.
Whether your dog enjoys social interaction, prefers one-on-one attention, or simply needs a calm place to relax, we create a personalized experience that helps them thrive during their stay.
Individualized Care for Every Dog
No two dogs have the same needs, and their boarding experience shouldn't look the same either.
Before each stay, we consider your dog's personality, preferences, energy level, social comfort, and overall well-being. This allows us to structure their days around activities that are both enjoyable and beneficial.
Some dogs enjoy spending time with carefully selected canine friends, while others are happiest engaging with people, exploring enrichment activities, or enjoying peaceful downtime. Our goal is to create an experience that supports each dog's emotional health while helping them feel secure and understood.
Fear-Free, Relationship-Based Care
Our approach is rooted in fear-free, force-free principles and relationship-based training.
We prioritize trust, communication, and positive experiences in every interaction. Dogs are never forced into situations that cause unnecessary stress, and we continually adjust our approach based on what each individual dog needs to feel successful.
By creating a predictable routine and calm environment, we help dogs settle in more quickly and enjoy their time away from home.
Why Families Choose Family Fido Boarding
Boarding Designed Around Your Dog
We believe boarding should be more than simply meeting a dog's basic needs. It should provide opportunities to learn, explore, relax, and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
When your dog stays with The Family Fido, they become part of a thoughtfully designed program focused on helping them feel comfortable, fulfilled, and cared for every step of the way.

Group Play Enrichment & Wellness Track
For dogs who genuinely enjoy social interaction and benefit from spending time with other dogs, our Group Play Enrichment & Wellness Track provides a balanced combination of enrichment, training, and carefully managed social experiences.
These dogs may participate in two structured group play sessions each day alongside compatible canine companions. Group participation is based on each dog's emotional well-being, play style, and overall comfort level—not simply because they are friendly.
Our focus is on quality interactions, not quantity.
Solo Dog Enrichment & Wellness Track
Many dogs do not benefit from traditional daycare-style social environments, and that's perfectly okay.
For dogs who are selective with other dogs, easily overwhelmed, recovering from stress, aging, or simply prefer people over canine companionship, our Solo Dog Enrichment & Wellness Track offers a fully individualized experience.
These dogs enjoy one-on-one enrichment activities, confidence-building exercises, decompression opportunities, training games, and personalized attention throughout the day.
This option allows sensitive dogs to relax, learn, and enjoy their stay without the pressure of social interactions they may not enjoy.
