Scent Work, also known as Nose Work is a fun and engaging scent-detection sport that taps into your dog’s natural sniffing instincts. Inspired by professional detection work, this activity builds confidence, mental stimulation, and a strong bond between you and your dog.
Our classes are designed for dogs of all ages and breeds, whether you’re looking for a rewarding hobby or preparing for competition. Scent Work is especially beneficial for shy or high-energy dogs, providing a structured outlet for their sniffing skills. Classes will be taught by Nicole Stundzia, an experienced Nose Work competitor who has earned AKC Scent Work titles in Interior and Exterior Elements with her Poodle, Sophie, along with multiple top three placements. She is currently working toward her Buried and Container titles. |
“In this course there are no restrictions, it’s not all about training the operational search dog, or the competition dog, it’s simply about us enjoying ourselves with our dog.” - Dr. Robert Hewings
